The moment contracts.
Breathing inwards
I am swept into the dark eye of infinity,
That uninhabited place
where lovers go when the wave-crest shatters.
No mind, no pulse, nor thought of a pulse.
No questioning of where and how?
Then,
falling upwards
into nothing
as the light breaths out
to be the next beat of Your heart
as it speaks within my open breast
as Love.
