Suddenly
there are outbreaks of bird-song. The winter sun has found the sky again and has reached into its heart to be this late blossoming that is now your soul dancing up into your eyes. Suddenly, you are this bathing beauty of the day immersed in the grace of a singing ocean that overflows the land's chill dreams. You are a song-bird of your spirit lighter than any shadow. Suddenly you remember that there will be a Spring and that if you stay alert to its arrival; if you keep your hands open in a grateful readiness to receive, then the sun will pour out of your heart and you shall suddenly bloom just as you do now.
