Your Green and Living Art

When a shadow lies directly under the sun
it disappears. This is how to move into poetry: Stay under the sun like a full eclipse of your earth. Your words will grope for form, appear, and be pulled apart to be born anew in the emoting womb of creation. When you water your desert with desire, you become something capable of blossoming. You allow a greenness of yourself to grow into a living art. Listen to the way your soul shifts from one sky to another. Nothing is heard without this craft of one hand clapping.
