THIS KISS____

whence comes
this wild kiss
this heat-stretched
joy-tetched nod
of delicious delirium
rising deathless into God

what state this
mind-blowing liquid bliss
it drips in tasty cups
a sweet mulled wine
for thirsting hearts
hungry minds

what is this place
of breathless grace
where power pours
down time

where begins
one pounding drum
whose rhythms race
towards the sun

and just how
is the pulling down
of strongholds done
this melting fall through all
my carefully constructed walls

until

I am sated
I am killed
to a stilled
awareness filled
with only

you

MUAAA!!

I like This Kiss___ mikeypal.
Especially because I was one of those old men who fell asleep
half way through the Second Act of Swan Lake and died.
Now I rise with one of the endings!

Do I get Siegfreid or the Swan?

Sounds like it might be
the threshold of the heart.

Many sunbeams to you, mikey. (Here in Carolina right now, we're entertaining tropical storm Ida, so the weather's probably like your usual fare there in Seattle.)

you know, oddly enough, my mystical friend, I was contemplating that very same thing regarding the powerful energies of a sexual kiss being able to open someone's heart to greater Love, even to Divine Love...

the christian church, with its bent toward forcing guilt and shame and fear into the human hearts of its followers, has spent enormous amounts of time and energy teaching humanity that sex is evil, that woman is evil, that sex itself is sinful, and that humans are essentially evil...

however, our sexual drive is our primary human survival drive!!

but the christians and the muslims and the buddhists and the hindus all teach their people that sex is dangerous...that sex is not spiritual... and if you do sex you cannot be a truly effective spiritual being...you cannot reach Divine...

and yet, it is Divine Love who created sex...so it logically follows then, that these religions must all ACTUALLY believe Divine Love itself to be evil...

for these religions all equate sex with lust in all their languages...and they teach their followers to FEAR their own human natures...

and all these religions, without exception, therefore teach their followers SELF HATRED, instead of self Love, by teaching that we must to attain their verson of perfection by obedience to their laws instead of just unconditionally accepting their followers AS THEY ARE...

instead of accepting their followers, and giving them the truth about their humanity, about where humanity is weak, and where it is strong, and how Divine Love is the Source for strength IN our weakness, contrarily, all of these religions see their followers as hopelessly filled with faults and essentially evil...

for their followers talk constantly and fearfully about their conduct, about those relgious rules for human conduct, about the LAWS which the religions have themselves devised in order to CONTROL their followers...

the effect of this is that their followers become afraid of not being able to obey all those religious rules...

and they become fixated on those rules of conduct, which they themselves SECRETLY know they are continually failing to live up to on a personal and human level...

they become more and more fearful, more and more defeated, terrified they cannot be spiritual themselves because they keep failing...

WHAT TORMENT!!!!

and all because, in contrast to loving their followers, what these religions really want is CONTROL OVER their followers...

THEY SEEK TO RULE...NOT TO LOVE...

because without that rule, they cannot sustain themselves as a religion...and they know it...

because once a religion has been established AS a religion, with all the formal physical structures and systems in place that maintain that religion, that religion MUST be able to control its followers because the RELIGION NEEDS its followers to provide the MONEY and personal WORK that will allow said religion to continue its existence and to exercise its HUMAN power base...

soooo...the relgions control their people by SHREWDLY AND SYSTEMATICALLY instilling FEAR AND GUILT AND SHAME into them...and DEMANDING their personal and financial support, for fear of guilt and shame and the terrible sense of personal failure and accompanying rejection by one's peers...

NOW...........

if A SEXUAL KISS, which belongs to NO religion, but only to our humanity, can literally open the human heart into Love, into real, selfless, giving Love, then it cannot be evil...unless Love itself is evil...

so, perhaps THAT is the REAL QUESTION...

is selfless, giving Love good?

or is selfless, giving Love evil?

selfless, giving LOVE DOES NOT NEED RELIGION in order to either to exist or to thrive...

what Love needs is YOU AND ME...

LOVE NEEDS US...all of us...
