Adi Atman,

was it you
with measuring
brown eyes?

you who could walk
upon the shoulders
of stone giants?

and disappear
so completely?

it must have been raining
the day you left
heavy drops
scoring the tasteless air
in their drive to the earth

and losing you
I knew
for the first time
what it was
to search

a hard blessing
