Why again
the mask? Why do you disappear into the crowd? I know you have emptied my pockets while I dreamed. It is dawn, and you are not by my side. You have taken everything but not me! Why wound and not kill? Was not the blade you brought for this heart? It is dawn, and still I draw breath. I am crazy with the taste of blood. Beguiler! Thief! I will corner you in some dark alleyway. No more half measures; you will have to kill me this time. It is dawn, and it is just another sunrise. Why am I not already lost in you?
