Lime
They say justice is found beneath a lime tree --
but I come seeking the scent of its white blossom.

Commentary by Ivan M. Granger
There is an old Celtic tradition that says justice is best handed out beneath a lime tree. I first heard this when I lived on Maui, where I had a lime tree growing out front. I walked outside and stood before the lime tree in blossom and I was enveloped in the embrace of its sweet smell.
The law of justice, the karmic need to 'balance one's accounts,' is always superceded by the blissful release eternally offered by the living present. In the workings of divine law, the healing balm of love takes precedence in all things, even over justice.
