Themes
  Dawn
  Wine
 
 
 

 

The hungry world
stubbornly starves
never tasting
God
once.

Come.
Sit.
Consume God
slowly.

With the last crust
of bread,
mop
every drop.
Lick
each finger
clean.

Leave not a crumb
when dawn breaks.

Full at last,
giddy with wine,
ask,
     Who has eaten
     Whom?
