No reference No subject/object Nothing for the mind To recognize
Conscious mind looses interest And falls asleep If you are identified within the mind Then when it goes to sleep . . . you go to sleep
But, for those of you continuing on You will notice your Natural State The boundless, objectless presence That you are
Self-recognition is important Because until the Self. . . recognizes Itself How will you pass beyond The mind?
What reference would you use? What will you be aware of? How will you stay conscious When everything you recognize fades into silence?
The identity you are accustomed to Fades from view Can you stay awake When there is no you there? There is another Self, which is always present It is what is aware of your mind, your thoughts Even when you are not It is what's aware of the you . . . that you imagine yourself to be
This is the You that is calling you Can you hear yourSelf calling you? It is calling you Home . . . to Itself To yourSelf
But self-recognition does not Happen to you It does not happen to the you That you think you are
It is the larger You Becoming aware of Itself
