Nirmala is a contemporary spiritual teacher in the nondualist Advaita tradition. He traces his spiritual lineage through Neelam and H.W.L. Poonja to Ramana Maharshi.

Nirmala conducts regular satsangs in Arizona, and teaches throughout the United States and other countries.
