Seyyid Syfullah Nizamoglu was a leader of the Helveti Sufi order. His devotional poems range from folk to classical styles.

The title Seyyid indicates he was a descendant of Ali.

Although he was one of the best known and loved of the 16th century Turkish Sufi poets, I haven't yet been able to find out many details of his life written in English.
