Bees fight over flowers,
great winged battles all buzzes and body slams. I claw the day to reach you. I've lightened the ship, thrown everything overboard, become empty, high floating, waiting. Pelicans land and find nothing to eat. The morning fog tastes of you, of the salt on your skin. The waves are your love whispers. I am swallowed by this hunger that circles me yet you are everywhere.
