Offer Your Heart

Uninteresting are your golden temples,
always bright with precious stones and rows of shimmering lamps. What to say of your grandeur? A crowd of kings stand guard at your door. You bathe in the Ganges and squander hoards of pearls. You sing many Vedic verses and meditate in the morning. Says Rasakhan, "All of this is useless if the heart is not offered, with love, to yellow-clad Krishna." - from "Treasury of Love: The Poems of Rasakhan" translated by Shyamdas.
