Poet, children's novelist, radio scriptwriter and broadcaster. Author of two collections of poetry, The Prince's Brief Career (Cairn Mountain Publishing, 1996), and Shadows Bloom / Scáthanna Faoi Bhláth (Doghouse), a collection of haiku with translations into Irish by Gabriel Rosenstock and illustrations by Lynda Horgan. A third collection of poetry, Vortex, is due from Doghouse next year.

He was the scriptwriter for the Irish children's radio show The Ivory Tower, which ran to 103 episodes, and his novels based on this series, The Johnny Coffin Diaries and Johnny Coffin School-Dazed are published by The O'Brien Press.

John is a pagan mystic and Muse poet. His sensibilities are nature-centered, his philosophy gnostic.

Shadows Bloom / Scáthanna Faoi Bhláth is available direct from Doghouse at doghouse312@eircom.net

or by mail from
Doghouse, PO Box 312, Tralee GPO, County Kerry, IRELAND.
