Video: Buddhaverse
Ivan M. Granger March 5th, 2008
I first saw this video when someone posted a link to it on the Poetry Chaikhana Forum. Watching this video, I am reminded that, despite all its movement, the world, the whole universe, is in meditation… and asks us to join in.
Everyone I show this to loves it. I hope you do too.

Hi Ivan ,
It’s a nice blog .
I will probably be more comfortable here because of the vaiety of topics and channels of communication .
Do visit my blog “akash-smriti” at blogspot .
Looking forward to meaningful interaction ,
With regards ,
manas/akash
Thanks, Manas. didn’t seem to work. Is it a different URL?
I hope the site continues to feel welcoming, with lots of interest…
I tried to visit your blog, but I couldn’t find it. The address
” http://akash-smriti.blogspot.com/ ”
This should work .

Ivan, All this time I’ve been thinking Chaikhana was a different spelling of Shakina, the Hebrew word for Light of God. Either one works for me, as your site in always enlightening and peace bringing.
Laurie, I never thought of that, but I’m perfectly happy with the site being called the Poetry Shekhina, as well! Isn’t Shekhina also associated with the manifestation or emanation of God? I know some esoteric traditions associate the Shekhina with a feminine aspect or quality of God. Whether you come for the tea or the light, I hope you find something special! - Ivan
(By the way, if you want to know what inspired me to call the site a ‘chaikhana’, you may want to read The Story of Tea, a spiritual parable by Hamadani, in which ‘tea’ is used as a symbol for the blissful ‘drink’ of union with God…)
Manas/Akash - I just visited your blog. Some lovely poems. I really liked the lines about “folded hands / quivering with the / missed beat of the heart…” Are you the same Manas who periodically posts to the Poetry Chaikhana Forum? If not, you should. There’s room for more than one manas. - Ivan
I Ivan
