Ivan Interviewed
Ivan M. Granger May 30th, 2008
If you’re interested in my thoughts on sacred poetry, how I ended up on this path, or if you’re just curious what my voice sounds like, you may want to listen to an interview I did recently with the Ecstatic Art & Theater Project. They are an excellent organization that explores and encourages the sacred/transcendent/ecstatic in art and theater.

I’d love to hear your comments on the interview, either via email or through the blog. So please let me know what you thought after listening.
Ivan,
I listened to the interview and was very moved by your spiritual experiences.
I do love the story of the teahouse i actually wrote a blog on it a year ago to share with my friends, but they were not moved in the same way i was.
I just love all that you have said and done, thank you for sharing all your experiences and inner spiritual knowledge i really do look forward to all that you say!
I do read your poetry you send everyday and actually save it all,
i go back and read it when i need to be uplifted.
Keep it going, it’s all great!!
Much love and peace to you, and have a great weekend!!
Elizabeth.
Hi Ivan,
This is what i wrote after listening to your interview.
Poetry is nothing, but the blood, of the poet, rolling down, on the chicks of time.Through the eyes of words.
Intellect, may understand or not, but it takes, pain & ache of a labor, for the poet to deliver.
It raptures its emotions,to come down from those levels of light & clarity.Where he sees & meets & does not want to come, down to the dense realm of words.
But is the order of the beloved,for the love of the rest,to go & chant.To bring them a long,as I, don’t stand there,but,WE & for all us.Its HE/OM/ALLAH
Zinda baad Chaikhana.
salam
Elizabeth,
Loved your message — thanks. I’ll take your advice and keep it going.
And Salam,
A beautiful message. It’s poetry in itself!
Ivan
Ivan your invitation to hear your voice couldn’t be resisted!
As I listened to the interview I was taken by the fluidity of the words that escaped your lips and gathered the passion of your spiritual conciousness into life. It was clear that the interviewer was lost for words at times as your poet’s soul emerged in the ordinary that revealed the extraordinary.
I was particulaly moved by the poetry that you shared and have come to ‘know’ the Beloved at new depths from the first time I met you in the ‘ether’ of the internet a year or so ago.
Thankyou for being you in my life.
In Light and Appreciation and One with the Beloved.
Mary
Mary,
Such a warm-hearted message — thank you.
Here’s to riding the fluidity of words (and silences), and coming to know the Beloved at ever new depths…
