I just returned from a dawn meditation in my tent down in the meadow here at Eduardo Sierra's and was blessed with this Henry Vaughan poem from your site. Maybe he was a Sufi? His ecstatic state and ties with nature seem awfully familiar to me.

Vaughn may have been an inspiration for a later Christian
poet and musician, Henry Lyte who wrote "Abide with me,
fast falls the eventide..."

Vaughn was heartier than Lyte.
