This is one of several sites I wake to each morning. And what a blessed way to start my day. The gratitude of this poem is simply and I loved it. And thank you Ivan for showing up for all of us. Love and Peace to you.

Again and again the mystics bring home the realisation of this amazing thing called life. Life lives in every living thing. A simple thought, but how many people pass through without this awareness.
Thank you Rena for your comments on my poem and for your response with your own lines. And thank you Ivan for allowing us to share and come together in this way.

I can't help but be reminded of the traditional line, "all's right with the world". "May I live this day" is more in keeping with the desperate modern pace we are all living in.
It also brings to my mind the Torah's way of expressing the same idea: "I give you this day".
Both could be equally paraphrased: One day at a time....
