expediency

Published by at 7:51 am under Thoughts for the Day

Never accept the logic of expediency
over compassion.
We need a world that’s less efficient
and more humane.

    Imagine

    John Lenon

    Imagine there’s no heaven
    It’s easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky

Imagine all the people living for today
    Imagine there’s no countries
    It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you

How we could create a better world, a world we all desire?

Is it be possible that “Time and Space” cannot exist for us?

It will take as much time as take to overcome Time.

Till we release all the baggage of the past?

    Actually it is No past.
    No present.
    No future,
just the concept of the third dimension.

When one is caught in Time,
one is caught in three of its sub-dimensions:
    past, present and future.

And just as our 3 dimensions:
length, breadth and height give us density,
    structure, constriction,
    sub-dimensions of Time,
    past, present and future,
    do the same.

    Cycles, rhythms, patterns of Nature,
are all that exist in a world
that needs Time in order to hold
    three dimensions in symmetry.

There are no cycles, no patterns,
no rhythms that exist on and on and on.

They exist as long as Time itself.

… and E.S. Eliot said it in the “Four Quartets” :

    At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.

Aren’t we all and the world at the Still Point now?

Soemeone said, the imagination is the telescope of the Consiousness,
    beyond Time…
