When one settles into a state of desirelessness

by Akha

English version by Krishnaditya

When one settles into a state of desirelessness,
Then the self's flame is fired up.
A great man is done with deeds,
When his ties of desires are truly severed.
As the sun shines clear in a cloudless sky,
Akha, a shining light means desires are nowhere nearby.
