Raj Waghray has a master's degree in computer application from BIT Mesra. He has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked with several companies such as Texas Instruments, Accenture, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. He currently heads the entrepreneurship cell at Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.

Raj's journey in spirituality began over two decades back when he stumbled upon The Happiness Program from the Art of Living Foundation and found his Guru in Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Attending the Happiness program was a life transforming event and the regular practices of Sudarshan Kriya, Deep Meditations and Satsangs brought a huge transformation.

Raj is author of two books -- “The Gita in my homework” which introduces the principles of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to young adults and “The Aftertaste of Transcendence” a collection of poems which have come spontaneously after meditation.

Raj stays in Bangalore and is married to Meena -- who is a mediator and a Yoga and Art of Living teacher. He has two children -- Tanvi and Sreesh — who are currently studying and are both Sri Sri Yoga teachers.
