Kona Winds
by Ivan M. GrangerOriginal Language English
Kona winds
wash the mountainside,
churning eucalyptus
and lime.
Behind west-moving
clouds
the moon shines
somewhere.
Beloved,
you are in the land
of sleep
and this night
I cannot join you.
